The Yelcho


A Chilean tugboat built in Scotland in 1906, the Yelcho was an unlikely savior. The ship was completely unsuited to her mission in Antarctic waters. She had no heating and only one hull. Still, the 120 ft. ship succeeded where three others had failed.
